Parts Cleaners
W e are able to supply parts washers. Virgin solvent is used and a collection
and disposal service for spent solvent is available.
The long life, high quality, stainless steel units can be purchased or
leased. Longevity lends itself to purchase but a leasing option is also
available. Good cost savings can be made when compared with your current
supplier. Virgin solvent supplied in drums up to 200 litres means that
you do not need a frequent, costly, regular service. You decide the frequency,
not your supplier. The pump on the unit is positioned to only supply good
quality, clean solvent to the sink. The detritus falls to the bottom of
the solvent drum and stays there. This is a robust, cost effective unit
that can provide you with an alternative to your current supplier. We
would be very pleased to provide you with a demonstration and a trial.
Site Clearances
We provide a full site clearance service of inert and hazardous waste
either in small or bulk quantities. Drums containing mixed wastes, industrial
oils and chemicals can be collected, transported and disposed of with
the necessary legal paperwork completed on your behalf. We provide you
with risk assessments and method statements and fit in with your own health
and safety procedures.
Shredding and Secure Disposal
We collect and transport waste material from your premises for fragmentation
including a range of plastics and polythene.
Waste of a confidential nature such as files and documents and high value
goods that are damaged or out of date need to be disposed of separately
from the usual waste streams. We can arrange to collect and transport
your items to a secure disposal site. A Certificate of Destruction will
be issued providing you with a guarantee that the items have been destroyed
and will not return to the market place. You will have the opportunity
to visit the disposal site to witness the destruction process if you wish.
This process is suitable for confidential files, bottle and canned drinks
including alcohol, food, tobacco, damaged and imperfect products.
Site Drainage Plans
On its website the Environment Agency draws attention to the need of site
operators to produce a pollution incident response plan including a site
drainage diagram. A simple diagram should indicate access points to your
site with layout of roads for emergency services. Site drainage, blue
for storm and red for foul, with direction of flow, should be schematically
represented. Interceptors and containment tanks should be identified.
Discharge points for surface water and trade effluent from your premises
should be marked.
The level of detail on the diagram will depend upon the size of the premises,
type of activity and risk of pollution that might not be contained within
your premises in the event of a spillage.
If you are concerned that you do not have a drainage diagram for your
site call us and we will point you in the right direction.
High Pressure Water Jetting
Without regular maintenance, drains and pipework can become inefficient.
An accumulation of silt, fat, grease and scale reduces the flow of water
and eventually flooding can occur. With high pressure water jetting we
can clear blockages and restore free flow.
Other applications of jetting include the cleaning of industrial floors,
tanks, machinery
and graffiti removal.
CCCTV Surveys
Closed circuit television surveys of inaccessible drains and pipes show
up the reasons for problems that have arisen and avoid costly excavation
and dismantling. The camera is lowered in to the drain and propelled through
the pipes displaying good quality pictures that can be viewed on a screen
and recorded for perhaps insurance claims or remedial work. A written
report is provided with a recommendation for the most cost effective action
to take. CCTV is also suitable for examination of chimneys, oil and gas
pipes, wells, silos, heating ducts and any confined space unsafe for human
entry.
Root Cutting
Drains and pipes that are within 15 metres of shallow rooting trees and
shrubs can become partially or even totally blocked. Roots grow proportionately
in size with the above ground tree and will infiltrate modern perforated
plastic pipes and pipes damaged by cracks. We can supply the equipment
and expertise to remove the intruding roots and restore free flow without
the need for costly excavations. However, if dense, fibrous root growth
has gone unchecked, it may be necessary to relay new pipe and we will
give you best advice.
Tank Disposal, Cleaning & Confined Space Entry
Inspection of internal tanks before cleaning or repair is dangerous and
requires properly trained and qualified staff. We are able to provide
people with the necessary experience of using breathing apparatus to enter
confined spaces.
A full survey is undertaken and we provide method statements and risk
assessments that compliment your own codes of practice. We offer:
• cleaning to “gas free” permitting standards with certification
• shot blasting and repainting internal surfaces
• preparation and cleaning for change of product
• decommissioning and dismantling tanks and vessels
